Decorating a child’s bedroom can be tricky, but doing it for twins has its own additional twists and turns to navigate. Oh and let’s throw into the mix the fact that we are dealing with one boy and one girl just for kicks. We have gotten by up until now, but they have reached the big bed stage. And each has their own idea of what they should get, and neither is in the mood for compromise. Hair pulling time it is.

Much to my surprise, I found the solution in metal beds. While scanning through websites I came upon metal beds that come in colours that suit both of my children, the quintessential boy and girl colours, pink and blue. The design is neither too feminine, nor too masculine so they both approve. The added bonus is that I can purchase them with under bed storage. Not sure what I did to deserve this gift from the gods, but it is much appreciated to be sure.
