A dazzling house is often one that has a few definitive key pieces that stun, surprise, and attract those who cross its threshold. One of the ways I have chosen to do this within the walls of my own abode is with an item you would never expect from me, or any other interior design professional. But, frankly, that just makes me love it all the more, unconventional.

I don’t want to uncover it just yet, because once I do, the name will make some turn away. For its name is not something that screams high-end, in fact it might even come across initially as something better suited in a dollhouse. But, considering it provides a delightful floor cover that won’t slip and allows furniture to sit absolutely flat if placed upon it, it deserves another look.

Ok, so what is this statement piece that will stun, surprise and attract, a giant floor sticker. With all the styles to choose from, there will be many for any type of room. Obviously, if you were looking for some floor cushioning, a way to limit echoing noise, or a long term investment this is not for your floor. However, you may find it to be the perfect addition to a wall, maybe as a backdrop for a photo collection, or all by itself as decoration. One way or another it can be the ideal way to anchor a space.
