While we have often seen those people who can juggle more than one technical device applauded, studies show that it can actually be harmful for you. Sure, it might be impressive to friends, family and especially employers that you can participate in a phone call, text away on you iphone, and Twitter simultaneously, this is not recommended by those in the know.

Studies revelled that those who techno-juggle are more prone to experience headaches and stress-related illnesses. As such, while at first glance you appear to be a super overachiever, ultimately it might wear you down. Once that happens, all that time you saved will be squandered on your recuperation and recovery.

It might feel great to be acknowledged for harbouring major multi-tasking skills, but that instant gratification given by your boss with a thumbs up, or brief verbal praise will fade. Indeed, it will more than likely only lead your employer to pile more work on your capable head. Thus, starting a vicious cycle. In reality, I think we all already know that slow and steady wins the race.
