The Best Way to Organize Stockings
June 30th, 2010Good LifeFor years I have struggled with keeping my stockings available, but safe. I need to be able to see them, but also require that they be in a neat and orderly fashion. Then on top of all of that, they are so delicate they must also be protected. Recently, after once again making a mess while trying to find a special pair of stockings with seams I decided to take action. After surprisingly little research I had several options lined up. So now I have combined a couple of recommendations and formed what I believe is the best tactic.
Store stockings in plastic sandwich baggies, these are awesome because they allow you to see the contents, and simultaneously completely protect them. Next, dedicate an entire drawer, hatbox, or shoe box to housing the stockings. I lined a gorgeous hatbox I selected with coordinating tissue paper because it gave one more layer of protection, and it makes opening it up like opening a gift.
Considering how much I have to wear stockings this whole transformation of how I keep them organized is very refreshing. The clutter and confusion are all gone now, and this makes the common rush of getting dressed in the morning much more bearable.
